Step by step

01

Collection and care of the deceased

Whether the death occurred at home, in hospital, in a care home, a hospice or elsewhere: we take care of collecting the deceased and preparing them with dignity. If necessary, we also arrange suitable cooling until the repatriation.

02

Registry office formalities

We handle the necessary formalities at the responsible registry office (Standesamt) and take care of the required documents and the death certificate. Processing is generally possible on working days. Authorities are closed at weekends and on public holidays. Processing usually takes about 1 to 3 working days with us, but may vary depending on the authority and the situation.

03

Turkish consulate

As soon as the required documents are available, we take care of the further formalities at the responsible Turkish consulate. We prepare the necessary documents and accompany the entire process.

04

Islamic washing (ghusl)

If the family wishes, we arrange the Islamic washing (ghusl) of the deceased. It is carried out respectfully and according to Islamic custom. On request, we also take care of the kafan, the wrapping in the burial shroud.

05

Funeral prayer

On request, we arrange a hodja (imam) to lead the funeral prayer. We plan the process calmly and according to the family’s wishes.

06

Preparing the repatriation

As soon as all necessary documents and permits are available, we prepare the repatriation to Turkey. We take care of transport and the flight booking and look for the earliest suitable connection. The exact date depends on available flights and official approvals.

07

Repatriation to Turkey

We repatriate the deceased to all regions and cities of Turkey, whether the destination is a large city, a small town or a remote village. Thanks to our network, we have reliable partners in almost every city who receive the deceased at the airport and accompany them safely to the desired destination. This means repatriation to small towns and villages is also reliably organised.

08

Arrival and handover in Turkey

After arrival we take care of the handover at the agreed destination. We coordinate everything with the contacts on site and make sure the handover is reliable and dignified.
